Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Psalm 150:6

I’m Caity, and Dwell Evermore is what I like to think of as my passion project. From a young age, I was marked by creativity and in search of beauty. From learning to braid and paint and sketch to practicing my handwriting as a grade school child — I loved getting my hands on different materials and learning to create something new.

I love that the one of the first pictures of God we see in scripture is as Creator. Starting with nothingness, chaos, and darkness — creating beauty, order, and peace. That resonates so deeply with me. In a chaotic world, I love the moments of beauty and peace.

The ocean at dusk. Morning light peeking through the curtains. Fireflies, white puffy clouds, seashells, and red clover. Sleeping children, chests rising and falling, little snores. Honeysuckle, sunsets, holding hands, moments to linger. The wrinkly hands of my grandparents. The sunkissed cheeks of my kids on the beach. Homegrown strawberries, daffodil bulbs planted in the cold of winter, ducks flying over the field next door. The little things all around that aren’t so little…all moments of love and joy in the midst of a breaking, hurting world.

Dwell Evermore was founded in 2016, in a season of hope and grief, of reaching out and drawing in. I miscarried our third child; my heart was shattered. I felt so empty — physically, emotionally, and almost spiritually. But the love of the Father anchored me in a stormy season. I sensed him speaking and moving me to start creating again. To reach out with creativity and beauty, to draw in and let him nourish me.

In 2017, we had our fourth baby — so with a 4 year old, 3 year old, and baby…I kept creating. But just around the corner in 2018, I sensed the Lord inviting me to lay Dwell Evermore aside for a while. To focus on the ministry work I was in and to raising our 3 little ones. So for 6 years, this field of Dwell Evermore was called to lie fallow.

In 2024, my husband and I sensed it was time for me to step into my passion project again, so cheers to the season ahead. Dwell Evermore exists to bring praise to the Father, Son, and Spirit. With every breath in me and every creative drop I have, I hope to honor his name.

I’m so glad you’re here, whether you’re new or have been following this journey for a time. Welcome. I hope we’ll become friends along the way.
