I’m Caity, and Dwell Evermore is what I like to think of as my passion project. From a young age, I was marked by creativity and in search of beauty. From learning to braid and paint and sketch to practicing my handwriting as a grade school child—I loved getting my hands on different materials and learning to create something new.

I love that the one of the first pictures of God we see in scripture is as Creator. Starting with nothingness, chaos, and darkness — creating beauty, order, and peace. That resonates so deeply with me. In a chaotic world, I love the moments of beauty and peace.

The ocean at dusk. Morning light peeking through the curtains. Fireflies, white puffy clouds, seashells, and red clover. Sleeping children, chests rising and falling, little snores. Honeysuckle, sunsets, holding hands, moments to linger. The wrinkly hands of my grandparents. The sunkissed cheeks of my kids on the beach. Homegrown strawberries, daffodil bulbs planted in the cold of winter, ducks flying over the field next door. The little things all around that aren’t so little…all moments of love and joy in the midst of a breaking, hurting world.
